Remedies for tooth sensitivity

- Use a desensitizing tooth paste, recommended by your dentist. Use a fluoridated tooth paste, not a tartar control one.
- Use a brush with soft bristles, so that you don’t cause further damage to the enamel or gums.
- Avoid highly acidic foods and aerated drinks.
- Use a mouthwash recommended by your dentist daily.
- Use a mouth guard to avoid unconsciously grinding your teeth.

- Bonding, crowns, and inlays, can fix decay which results in sensitivity.
- A fluoride gel.
- As a last resort treatment for tooth sensitivity, which cannot find relief in any other methods, is Root Canal.
