I am excited to share this July edition of Smile Time with you all. In June, I got an opportunity to speak at the Orthodontic Symposium, where I gave a presentation on Technology.

Mouth Rinses

Mouth rinses are used for a varied number of reasons like, to reduce plaque, to freshen breath, to reduce the speed that tartar (hardened plaque) forms on the teeth, to help prevent or control tooth decay, to prevent or reduce gingivitis (an early stage of gum disease), or to produce a combination of these effects. Passive, Indirect smoking – Are we keeping our life at risk?
Passive smoking or second hand smoking could be as dangerous as direct smoking. Passive smoking is nothing but breathing in someone else’s smoke. It has been said that a person living or working in a place where smoking is permitted increases the non-smokers’ risk of developing heart disease by 25–30% and lung cancer by 20–30%. Read more…

Complaint: Unaesthetic smile and peg shape upper right and missing upper left lateral incisor.
Treatment: Non-extraction braces treatment followed by cosmetic composite build up with upper right lateral incisor & reshaping of upper left canine to lateral incisor.
